MONZA

No, not the Italian race track, but a company set up to take advantage of the new Hampton Downs Motorsport Park, just south of Auckland New Zealand.  MONZA owns a magnificent two bedroomed, 5/6 bed  luxury trackside rental apartment, with stunning views of the racetrack, as part of the Hampton Downs Motorlodge.  Ask for unit 111.

The fastest Marcos in NZ - now it has been refurbished by its new owner.  This is an ex works car LM500, V8 and he kindly let me drive it at the opening Hampton Downs Classic meeting, organised jointly between MONZA & Club Lotus, November 28/29th 2009. it was a track parade to celebrate 50 years of Marcos.  Photograph copyright © Groundsky 2009
